I am a giant
I am falling
tilt-tipping to the side
no hand raised to stop it
no sound or shout of shock
only staring eyes and mild surprise:
this is a fall foreseen
I am a giant
I have fallen
lying; one shoulder on the ground
casting colossal shadows across imagined-to-be-there cities and lives
acceptance of present state straining to:
pull my heart from my chest and my eyes from my head
gazing at the dust on this floor
I am amongst the dust
I am the dust.
